CSR
ICO aspires to better lives of millions. We aim to create a peaceful and wonderful environment for our people. Bettering credit availability, skill up-gradation, and technology transfer to ameliorate productivity are some out of many illustrations of our initiatives.
Environmental projects like tree plantation, biodiversity promotion and soil & water conservation are major CSR activities that are crucial part of ICO Care. For bettering employment scenario, we introduce several skill building and training programs.
The most recent projects of our company includes transforming schools located close to our Indore, Madhya Pradesh based factory. We are partnered with NGO called Hand in Hand to manage several administrative tasks. Around 40 employees and leaders of the company actively participates in beautifying the school.
We have fully sponsored the project of establishing a community based college Madhya Pradesh based village. It provides free classes to render skills to the rural poor and owns a well-designed computer center. Beside this, it owns a free library with a huge collection of books that villagers can simply avail. The college also owns a well-equipped tuition center for children. Mr. Deepak Bhandari, Chief Executive of ICO Care has inaugurated college. The administration is taken care by Sevalaya an NGO that is situated out of Indore and help several rural people.
We have funded a well-equipped centralized water purification facility in association with a NGO named Hand in Hand on a land donated by Panchayat. It operates as a reverse osmosis system along with sand, micron filters, activated carbon, UV filtration and ozonator.
